Okay, back to work. Well, actually fun, to be more accurate. I’m headed back into the classroom today and will be adding more poems from 4th graders at Willagillespie School here in Eugene. Watch them as they grow right here.

    Korea

Korea is a very small country.
    Korea x 96 = America. It’s small.
But inside Korea there are lot’s of great things.
    We have symbols,
a flag with lots of colors,
food – bibimbab and Kimchi. Yum!
The outside is small but inside is big
    That’s Korea!

  3. Devyn E.L. Dixon says:

    Everyone deserves
    Everyone wants
    Everyone feels…PEACE

    Everyone deserves
    Everyone wants
    Everyone feels…LOVE

    Everyone deserves
    Everyone wants
    Everyone feels…FREEDOM

No one should be judged for how they look, same with a book.
No one should be judged for where they came, to do that to someone would be mean and lame.
We ALL deserve equal rights, any other way would start many fights and give me awful frights.

  4. conrad Bradford says:

There once was a boy named Tony.
Who ate nothing but old macaroni.
    And then one day,
    a horse screamed neigh,
and he was found eating baloney.

  5. Celia says:

    Rice
    it is my enemy
    my worst fear
    definitely I could live without
wish it wasn’t introduced to the world
when on my plate I gag at the sight
hating rice is a part of me.

  6. Brad says:

    I love pizza because
    of the spicy pepperoni
    the fresh olives
    the crunchy crust
and the oven steam floating in the air.
    I think I’ll have another.

  7. conrad Bradford says:

There once was a boy named Conrad.
Who was chased by a terrifying Bonrad.
    Evil creatures,
    with horrible features.
That come from the planet Nonrad.

  8. Osymah says:

    I am a dog
    a puppy dog
    with small legs and ears.
I run as fast as rats
    and love to eat steak.

  9. Rhiannon says:

    There once was a flee.
    Her name was Sally See.
    Though she liked the bee
she never liked me so I smacked her to the sea.
Hope that will teach her to like me.

  10. John d. Henley says:

    I’m lost! I’m lost!
    Help me I’m scared.
    It’s dark and oh,
there’s a pair of red eyes!
    I’m lost! I’m lost!

  11. Devyn E.L. Dixon says:

There once was a princess named Bear
who spent all day combing her hair.
Many a prince tried to wed the lass
but they all were rejected without class.
Princess Bear was indeed mighty unfair.
